This site was created by Mike Holden in February 2001, as a Yahoo Group. It eventually took on the name ArlingtonMusicScene.com, later becoming MetroMusicScene.com. That Yahoo Group now has over 1,500 members and can be accessed here at this link.

The blog portion of the site was created in the fall of 2004 and now serves as the mainpage of the MetroMusicScene.com site. The blog is where you'll find music news for the Washington, D.C. Metro Area. In February 2006, Jeff Campagna took over as the editor of the MetroMusicScene.com blog.
